Internet Safety

Worried about your child and social media, mobile phones, chat rooms and digital footprints?

Please find below copy of a presentation and talk by Mr James Lea, Sackville School, ICT and E-learning teacher.  The last few slides give some advice about parental controls and parenting ideas for dealing with children and their internet usage.

Ashurst Wood uses eSafe to monitor activity in the IT environment and on all connected devices.

In this way, all user behaviour is monitored, online and offline, to identify the early warning signs of abuse, neglect and safeguarding risk and so helping to keep students and staff safe.

Our Vision

We believe that everyone has a talent, and we work together to achieve full potential and bring out the best in every individual.

Our School is known as:

Successful, thriving and forward-looking;

A place where children enjoy learning in a happy, supportive environment;

A place where every individual makes a positive contribution, whether that is in school, in our community or in the wider world.
