Full Time Year 6 Teacher at Ashurst Wood Primary School
To start: September 2018
We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our wonderful village School.
Our recent Ofsted report stated that "we offer a well-planned curriculum which is enhanced by topics that offer rich learning opportunities that encourage pupils to explore the world beyond East Grinstead. The school makes a positive contribution to pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development".
We are looking for a permanent KS2 teacher to work with our Year 6 class. Potential candidates should be able to offer excellent classroom skills and be committed to providing creative and enjoyable learning; something we pride ourselves on.
We offer you friendly and supportive staff, who work well together for the benefit of polite, happy and independent children.
Due to our class structures we are able to offer a small year 6 class of 20 children, as well as the opportunity to work in a very good school.
We embrace outdoor learning, with access to 16 acres of ancient woodland.
We are privileged to have excellent facilities and a support Governor and parent body.
Our success at locality sporting and art events is excellent.
Visits to the school are warmly encouraged; we may be small but we are mighty!
Please call Emma Fish, Office Manager to arrange a visit on 01342 822584.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to satisfactory references, health checks and enhanced DBS clearance.
